Lesson 2 – Five themes

Lesson 2 – Five themes

In the second lesson of the training course, Thomas Jordan discusses five general themes that may underlie conflicts: distribution issues, position issues, structure issues, behavioural norm issues, and conviction issues.

He emphasises the importance of recognising and articulating these different themes to understand the various forms of desires in the workplace.

Discuss

  • Which of the conflict themes are present in your operations?
  • What are the desires of Beata, Per-Arne, and Peter that are getting blocked in the fictional tale (distribution issues, position issues, structure issues, behavioural norm issues, or conviction issues)?

Discuss for 10 minutes. Begin by starting the timer to keep track of the time. When finished, proceed to Feedback on reflections (scroll down).
